The
Grinch
The
Grinch, spectacular makeup and costume design. I believe some
days I would surely like to escape to whoville and visit Cindy
Lou who and the gang. I thought the hair was translated really
well from the original concept of the book.

Hairspray
Hairspray,
You gotta love the kitsch ! There is something incredible
about the height of these wigs and if you have ever tried
to backcomb a wig you will understand how much work has gone
into this film via the hair. It's an entertaining film with
absolutely no true depth but check it out!

Amelie
Amelie,
Starring Audrey Tattou , she is certainly charming. I am sad
that she has grown her hair since this film because I can't
tell you how many women have come in to me wanting her hair.
I want her hair , it's delish.

Swingers
Swingers,
It's all about the money baby! L.A. lounge at it's finest,
I love the scene but never ever want to go to L.A. guess I
will never get to the derby. OH well. The men are handsome
and groomed and the women are betty's .

Sid
and Nancy
Sid
and Nancy, not that this film is the best punk film of all
time because I can think of better. I think the makeup hair
was well represented of the punk underground . I love Gary
Oldman and Chloe Webb as the Main Characters of Sid and Nancy.
Special cameos are of Courtney Love, Iggy pop is in a hallway
with his wife. It's funny to see the scene change and the
hair change along with it. You are just supposed to expect
it and it cracks me up!

Sliding
Doors
Sliding
Doors, this film has inspired so many women to cut their hair
off you would be shocked. I can see it in their eyes when
they come in. There is something about Gwyneth Paltrow's character
during her transformation as she is cutting her hair short
that seems to speak to women. I loved her hair short and based
on this years academy awards she should have listened to her
stylists a long time ago! The soundtrack for this film rocks!

Breakfast
at Tiffany's
Breakfast
at Tiffanies , pure simply elegant glamour! Audrey Hepburn
is the queen of glamour. Fashion and hair owe so much to her
pushing the couture whenever she could. I love the hair ,
love the clothes, I actually love all her films . I think
Breakfast at Tiffanies just has the simple elegance that classifies
her so well.

Dangerous
Liasons
Dangerous
Liaisons, A wicked period piece, where the villains are voluptuous
and the innocent are prey. I love the costume and makeup choices
in this film. The drama is felt by the hair and costume. There
is such a grandeur about this film, definitely one of my favorite
top ten films of all time. John Malcovich is so incredible
in this film , everyone weaves a web.

Edward
Scissorhands
Edward
Scissorshands, My favorite director of all would have to be
Tim Burton, scenario as such: Loner boy from Gothic castle
meets girl from peppy neighborhood, boys doomed. Well the
hedges are fantastic and once he figures out how to use his
"scissorshands" it's all roses .. .. for a while...
I feel sort of like Edward some days . He should have found
a nice girl from another castle but then I guess I didn't
write the script and what conflict would that be.. Anyhow
see it , because it's fantastic cinematography, beautiful
hair...

Auntie
Mame
Auntie
Mame, What can I say about my favorite film of all time! I
absolutely love the wackiness of this. I am speaking of the
1958 Rosalind Russell (Not the Lucille Ball later production),
The set for this is incredible, I adore the wig change and
with each of Auntie Mame's life change there is a new look
to all of it. I would love to have her living room in the
engagement wedding planning scene! How fabulous!! "Life's
A Banquet, Most Suckers Are Starving To Death".
